These courses are only offered every Friday afternoon. These courses are OPTIONAL, and NOT MANDATORY.

FRIDAY ACTIVITY CLASS DESCRIPTION

 

1)    English Discussion & Speech Class

-          This type of class is a group class which will cater around 8 students. (1:8)

-          This type of class which encourages the students to express and speak in English. This class aims to boost the self confidence of the student in speaking in English and relating with co-students with the use of English language. This is a free talking class.

-          This class is also in a group class setting which will cater 8 students.

-          This type of class focuses on the speech enhancement and pronunciation of the student. This class aims to improve the pronunciation and public speaking ability of the students.

 

 

2)    IMEC CLASS (Interactive Media Class)

-          This class is also in a group class setting which will cater 8 students.

-          This class is an interactive class which uses the media as a medium of instruction. This class aims to let the students learn English in a very fun and effective way. This class mirrors the use of English in a day to day activity such as watching English movies, understanding English news and magazines.

 

 

3)    NEWS CLASS

-          This class is also in a group class setting which will cater 8 students.

-          This class is an News Class. The class includes broadcasting, newscasting and reporting. The News Class also will have a newspaper reading, magazine explorations and others activities related to reading.

 

4)    SA CLASS

-          This class is also in a group class setting which will cater 8 students.

-          This is a writing class incorporated with grammar lessons. The students will be asked to write an essay. Afterwards their will be a correction and discussion about mistakes. The students will also learn how to write an introduction, formal letter writing. The students will also be given a writing topics and will be asked to make a critical analysis, summary, letter of response.
